1. The feeding of 0.15-0.30mg of F as Na2SiF6per 1kg body weight a day for 30 successive days, has no effect on the propagation of actinomycetes in sheep feces.<BR>2. The 15 days' feeding of 0.6mg of F per 1kg. body weight a day, had effect of repressing to some extent the propagation of actinomycetes in sheep feces, and after 30 days' feeding, the propagation was very much repressed.<BR>3. The 30 days' feeding of 0.3-0.6mg of F per 1kg. body weight a day, after feeding of 0.15-0.30mg of F for the same period, had effect of repressing very much the propagation of actinomycetes in sheep feces. The propagation was completely stopped after anothor 60 days' feeding of 0.3-0.6 mg of F.<BR>4. The 30 days' feeding of 1.2mg of F per 1kg. body weight a day, after the feeding of 0.6mg Of F for the same period, stopped the propagation of actinomycetes in sheep feces.<BR>5. When the sheep in whose feces the propa gation of actinomycetes was not recognized by the fair supply of F, was fed for a week by the almost equall amount of Co to F, the actinomycetes in his feces may have propagated again. From this axperiment the authors have come to guess that at least regarding the propagation of actinomycetes, Co and F are antagonistic to each other.
