The inpotent ram, which is recovering its mating capacity, have been observed in relation to its certain exterior character, as well as mating performance and seminal volume, etc.1) The heavy and well-nourished ram shows better mating performance, and plenty of semen as well. 2) The ram provided with a long hairy scrotum tends to show low mating perfomance. 3) The ram which has high scrotal contractibility is generally recognized to have satisfactory mating performance, and plentiful seminal volume.4) The larger the testes are, the better mating performance. with sufficient seminal fluid is present.5) It seems that hard testes show rather unsatisfactory result in mating performance.
