概要

消化管は栄養を取り込むと同時に，異物を排除する機能を併せもっている．肥満やインスリン抵抗性がその基盤であるメタボリック症候群においては，消化吸収機能は病態に関与するだけではなく，食事療法，さらに薬物療法にまで深く関わっている．近年，消化管上皮細胞に発現するトランスポーターも明らかとなり，これらは糖質，脂質，蛋白質，さらにペプチド，脂肪酸などの輸送を制御している．本稿では，メタボリック症候群における消化吸収の変化について概説する．
