In the heat treatment process, it is difficult to predict the temperature distribution of die precisely. Because die deformation occurs complexly under various cooling conditions, its shapes and characteristics of phase transformation in steel.To simulate these quenching problems, heat-transfer coefficients were obtained by analyzing the cooling curves of typical die shape. And by using FDM program, the fundamental equations for the heat conduction were successfully evaluated.
