女性休職者に特化した復職支援プログラムの試み

Return to work(RTW)program has been implemented as an intervention to support those who are taking sick leave and are trying to return to work. Gender difference is not usually emphasized in RTW program. However, a report by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare reported that there are gender differences at working places regarding natures of stressors and response to stress. Therefore, gender difference is considered as an important factor for RTW program and we developed a RTW program specialized for women. The authors describe the newly developed RTW for women andevaluate 1)the characteristics of the participants for the program, 2)stressors associated with sick leave, 3)employmentstatus at 6 months after the program completion, 4)differences between those who continued to work and those who went back to sick leave at 6 months after the program completion, 5)the effectiveness of RTW program for women. Our study shows that the satisfaction of RTW program for women is high and the outcome of the program is better than previous studies.
