高等専門学校における実践的な国際化教育のあり方 (第1報、本校の現状と企業の現状調査)

With the drastic developments in the field of communication, the working environments of engineers and technologists have been changing dramatically. They consider many problems such as policy, economy and science information on a global scale. These days Ko‐sen graduates are also expected to acquire a higher language ability,and a sense of international understanding, besides just skills asengineers. However, we can hardly say that an essential prereqisite for that knowledge is met with the present educational curriculum;on the contrary, it is pointed out that the abilities of Ko‐sen graduates are generally low. In ths paper,we examine ideal and effective educational curriculum to cultivate able engineers and technologists who possess a sense of internaional understanding for cross‐cultural exchange. Here we report the present situation in our college and in the business companies where our college graduates have been working, by addressing questionnaires to them.
