The government guidelines for teaching in a junior high school was revised in April, 2012, and "zest for life" became a theme. Importance was attached to the contents of study to which the capability to evaluate technology from a social viewpoint also in technology and a homemaking course in addition to the contents of study based on the life of the conventional personal appearance is attached by the body. However, it did not follow on expansion of the contents of study, and the increase in a number was not seen at the time of a lesson. Therefore, the guidance plan under which all the contents of study were enriched is difficult. So, in this paper, since the necessity for the craftsmanship education in the department of technology was considered and it investigated by liking considering the state of future technical education, it reports. The main theme of the junior high school curriculum guidelines which is revised in April 2012 is "zest for life" In Technology and Home Economics, in addition to the conventional study based on daily life, the importance of the ability to evaluate the technology from the social viewpoint has been emphasized. Although the contents of the study have been expanded, the number of classes has not increased. Therefore, it is difficult to make the guidance plan which fulfills all study contents. So, in this paper, we report the results of the survey which we carried out to discuss the necessity of the manufacturing education in Technology and Home Economics, and to discuss the state of the future technical education.
