The ground surface temperature in the crawl space of a dwelling house is lower in summer than the outdoor air temperature or the room air temperature because of solar shading and water evaporation. The passive cooling effect of a ventilation system using the ground in the crawl space as a cooling source was clarified in PartⅠ of our study. In this paper, more experiments are carried out and the main results are as follows: ① The proposed system can keep the room air temperature in the midday of summer lower than the outdoor air temperature by at maximum 4℃. ② In the test house, the SET^* under natural ventilation is lower than of the proposed system. ③ Since the cooling capacity of the proposed system is 70W/m^2 at maximum, strict solar shading is required to obtain sufficient effect of the passive cooling system.
