The heat of transports Q^* of hydrogen isotopes H, D and T in Ti, Zr, V, Nb and Ta have been analysed with a biased-jump diffusion model and some characteristic points of Q^* in group Ⅳ and Ⅴ metals have been pointed out. The bias effect has been interpreted in terms of lattice distortion and electron polarization energies and the isotope mass effect of Q^* for hydrogen isotopes in group Ⅴ metals has been attributed to the bias effect due to the lattice distortion energy.
