痴呆診断における短期記憶および対光縮瞳反射に基づく方法の比較評価

Today Japan is rapidly becoming an aging society and the number of the old people with dementia is also increasing. Thus in future medical care for them will be taken at home. Caregivers must care for them in a proper way according to their severity of dementia. But there is no diagnose scales which caregivers can easily use. So an automatic dementia diagnose system and a system consists of an personal computer and a display with a touch pannel. Subjects memorize seven articles which have no relation each other on the display. After the seven articles are hidden, they recall and choose the same articles from twenty articles which contain previous seven articles. In experiments with 30 subjects, the correlation coefficient between the number of correct answers and the score of HDS-R was 0.866 and miss judge rate was 10%. The latter consists of a pen-light, an infrared camera, a digital video camera and a personal computer and evaluates the degree of dementia based on the motic time and healthy old people on the motic time (p<0.05) and between patients with healthy old people and AD (p<0.01) and patients with CVD (p<0.05) on the motic rate. The aim of this study is to compare these systems. 10 subjects were evaluated with these systems and HDS-R. The correlation coefficients between the two system s were 0.471 on the motic time and 0.382 on the motic rate. And the correlation coefficients with HDS-R were 0.933. on the automatic dementia diagnose system, 0.471 on the motic time and 0.382 on the motic rate.
