Today, innovations in the engineering of designing and construction enable the structures configured of more complex figures. For example, Art Tower Mito is formed by a combination of regular tetrahedrons and Ito Toyo Museum is formed by a combination of truncated octahedrons, cuboctahedrons and truncated tetrahedrons. The polyhedrons described above have a structure with regularity and evenness, and are expected to be adoptable to architectures. To clarify the characteristics of the polyhedron structure, this study focuses on truncated rhombic dodecahedron model and investigates its redundancy.
