Childcare center is a place to take care of children who cannot receive their parents' kindness at home. However, it has been isolated from the social community because it originates from orphanage. Children should be brought up in the broader social community because they need interaction with it to live happy lives in the future. In my project, I suggest a childcare center with complex social community spaces, which are open to the public. My project includes living spaces for children and community spaces. They are composed of spatial multilevel crossings and have independent functions. I utilizes compositions based on L type blocks. ◆ Utilization possibilities of L type blocks; a) Extension of horizontal plane, b) Connection of vertical spaces, c) New rooms made of crossing horizontal and vertical L type blocks.
