As a method, the talk between native Japanese and Chinese who spoke advanced Japanese was examined focusing on the usage of the opening expressions that occurred in turn-taking. Then the problems in opening expressions of Chinese were studied through comparison with that of Japanese native speakers. As a result, all the demonstratives, denominations, discourse markers, and back-channel which were indicated by Hajikano(1998) were observed. Moreover, the first person pronouns and Japanese particles were observed. They are considered to be the expressions of speaker's feelings or attention, and the response to the partner's utterance.
