当院における顎関節症チーム診療体制の現状と課題

A multidisciplinary approach for temporomandibular disorders has been recommended because different specialists can address various aspects of the problem, which enhances the overall potential for success. A treatment team in our hospital has been carried out since November 1993. To organize the team into an effective system, it is important to have a common viewpoint on diagnosis and management, therefore communication between members of the team is essential. We have a monthly case presentation conference to discuss findings and preferred treatment approaches. AIso we can discuss with each other using a campus LAN (Local Area Network). Electronic mails using a mailing list provide a meeting without restriction on place and time for members of the team. At the same time, we have opened a home page at the WWW (World Wide Web) (http://www.dent.niigata-u.ac.jp/tmd/) to exchange information with general dental practitioners using the lnternet.顎関節症に対するチーム診療体制が推奨されている。異なる専門医がさまざまな観点から対応でき、治療が成功する可能性が高まるためである。新潟大学歯学部附属病院では、1993年11月から顎関節症の患者に対しチーム診療体制をとっている｡効率的なチーム診療には、各診療科間のコミュニケ-ショソを緊密にし、診断や治療法に共通の見解を持つことが重要である｡各診療科での診断、治療の整合をはかる目的で、症例検討会を開催するとともに、電子メールを利用したメーリングリストを作成し、場所と時間の制約を受けない討議の場を運営している。同時に、WWW ホームページを開設し、インターネットを利用した大学外との情報交換を行っている。
