• The present paper reports the spectroscopic and structural investigations of trichlorotrifluorodisiloxane, comparing with those of hexachlorodisiloxane. On the basis of the spectra, the structure of Cl3SiOSiF3 seems to be C3v and that of Cl3SiOSiCl3,D3d. However a rigid D3d is indistinguishable from an internal rotating molecule, D′3h by vibrational spectra.
