A new method of aualysis was used to find the mean body length from the body length frequency composition, and the stright line through the points of differential value of the logalismic normal frequence curve was used in this method. The analysis was made about the body length frequency composition of Kidai (Taius tumifrons) being sampled from the catches of bulltrawl in each statistical region of East-China Sea during the 2・1/2 years, from Sep. 1950 to Des. 1952. As the results, two processes of the growth of Kidai was made distinctly.
