It is very important to utilize the local energy, such as natural cold energy in the winter season. In this paper, the authors suggest the house for large-scale and long-term storage of natural cold energy, such as natural ice or snow, in order to use it as a cold thermal energy source in the summer season. This storage house is buried in the ground and is simply construction. By theoretical thermal investigation, it is shown that about 80% of the stored ice in this house remains, even after one year, without melting by circumferential thermal condition and the density of ice or snow must be higher to use this storage house effectively.
