Cancer Control Act in Japan, which has been implemented in 2006, is intended to develop better home care supports system to improve the quality of cancer patient's life. However, home care support services publicly provided under the law do not cover patients who are under 65 years old, In this study, we conducted 22 cases of interviews to identify how we could provide proper home care assistance for patients who have been suffered from the lack of attention. The results indicated we should develop some new framework of the viewpoints not only from the medical aspect of quality of care but also from the perspective of risk management.
