This paper discusses "Being There" with the terminally ill and caregivers. The phrase "Be There" is often used in discussions regarding care and the ways of caring for patients. However, it is too abstract, and depends on each caregiver. The purpose of this paper is to describe the meaning of the words. The results of this research are: 1) the attitude to try to be meet patients, realizing limits that caregivers can hardly give anything to do to them, 2) the attitude to be there with them even if caregivers could not empathize, and I consider 3) the meaning of "limits", 4) the dual structure of " framework ", 5) the atmosphere of "Being There." From these considerations, the possibility of "Being There" is discussed.
