チアリーダーに生じた第一肋骨疲労骨折の1例

報告(Report)肋骨の疲労骨折は,ゴルフなどで生じる中位から下位の肋骨骨折がよく知られているが,第一肋骨の疲労骨折の報告は比較的少ない。われわれは,大学生チアリーダーに発生した第一肋骨の疲労骨折を経験した。左肩甲部痛で発症し,さらに左上肢尺側のしびれと痛みを自覚した。安静および低出力パルス超音波治療によって加療するも骨癒合は得られなかったが,1年後には競技に復帰できた。X線検査では評価が困難な同部位の評価に3DCTは,有用であった。Stress fractures of the first rib are not so common in athletes. It was occurs in a 21-years-old female base positioned cheer leader who belongs to university cheer leading team. She complained about her left shoulder and ulnar side arm pain. She ceased cheer leading for one year and Low Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound was applied to the fracture site but resulted in pseudounion. Pseudounion might be occurred due to her poor recognition of the stress fracture and rapid improve of her symptom prior to bone union. Immediate diagnosis and relative rest of the affected upper arm would be necessary until the callus formation is visualized.
