地域での世代間交流「学びの場」の創出 : 商店街を活用した「タイムマシン・クッキング」の実践

研究活動報告(Research and Activity Report)本稿は、地域コミュニティの拠点である同志社大学でまち家において、商店街と連携し「タイムマシン・クッキング」という非日常の空間を創出した社会実験の報告である。これにより、子どもたちが地域の大人達の生き方と出会い、自分たちが社会で生きてくために必要な力、つまり社会力を高めことを目的とした。さらに、地域の教育力を生かし、コミュニケーション能力を育む活動に展開できればと、今後の展望を述べた。The purpose of this paper is to report on the Time Machine Cooking, a unique social experiment with the support of the local shopping mall, conducted at the Demachi-ya run by Doshisha University that serves as the meeting place for the local community. The aim of this experiment is to enhance children's social skills required to live in society through meetings with adults in the local community and exposure to their way of living. In addition, this study offers prospects for the promotion of activities to develop children's communication skills by taking advantage of educational power of the local community.
