The purposes of the present study were to clarify consciousness of school principals toward the advisory instructions & supports to the novice teachers, the In-service training and the Out-of-training. Responses on a questionnaire survey are obtained from 337 school principals in elementary school. A text-mining analysis (text-mining software “TRUSTIA”) was used in the study. The results were as follows: 1) the school principals consider organizational climate and support system of their schools as important. 2) They carry out not only advisory instructions & supports on the teaching but also instructions & supports on the school management & class management. 3) They consider it is important both mentor and colleagues instruct & support the novice teachers in their school. 4) They consider that it burdens the novice teachers & their children while they evaluate the Out-of-training positively. The implications of the results were discussed in terms of how support should be provided for novice teachers in elementary school.
