1. The present paper was intended to report the rust fungi collected by the junior author et al. in the Northern Tokara Islands including Takeshima, Iwojima and Kuroshima. 2. The total number of species of the rust fungi from the Northern Tokara Islands is 55, in which Milesina is represented by 2 species, Hyalopsora 1 species, Pucciniastrum 1 species, Phakopsora 3 species, Coleosporium 8 species, Gerwasia 1 species, Kuehneola 1 species, Phragmidium 1 species, Uro1nyces 5 species, PIUCcinia 24 species, Uredo 3 species and Aecidiul1t 5 species. 3. Among 55 species, the following 3 species are newly added to the rust-flora of the Ryukyu Archipelago: -1) Milesina faulliana Hiratsuka, f. et Uemura, 2) Puccinia dioscoreae Komarov and 3) Uredo iyoensis Hiratsuka, f. et Yoshinaga.
