三原市の子育て支援体制整備にむけた地域における支援者の意識調査

資料Data Reports三原市における発達障害者への支援整備のあり方を検討するために，民生委員児童委員と主任児童委員に対して地域における支援者の意識調査（対象252人 回収率61％）を実施した。回答者の90％は地域の活動で子どもまたは子育て中の保護者と関わりがあった。地域の子ども，保護者，環境が気になったことがある人は半数以上であった。障害名の認知度は，従来からの福祉制度対象の障害名は高かったが，発達障害者支援法のものでは低かった。子育てに関する公的支援の認知度は，障害児福祉，一般児童および児童虐待に関連する制度・サービスについては高かったが，発達障害者支援法や特別支援教育に関連する項目は低かった。福祉への関心が高い人たちでも発達障害の理解は不十分であることが明らかになったため，今後まず，専門医療機関と行政・教育機関が連携して，効果的な地域啓発と利用しやすい専門相談体制の充実を図っていくことが必要と考えられた。In order to develop a system for helping persons with developmental disorders in Mihara City, we held a meeting and did a survey on the awareness of the children’s environment and understanding of developmental disorders by community supporters: volunteers committed to social support and child welfare in Mihara City. The results showed that more than half of the respondents are concerned about the children’s present environment. Most of them understood the general concept of welfare policy for persons with developmental disabilities, such as intellectual or motor disabilities, but few of them knew the newly established law and concepts for pervasive developmental disorders and hyperactivity syndrome. The authors intend to thoroughly educate the community about the management of developmental disorders and establish a support system for not only children with developmental disorders but also all children and parents in the community.
