[Synopsis] This experiment successfully produced a high quality product of compost in a short period regardless of the severe cold condition. Based on this result, it can be inferred that constructing a ventilator system in compost house effectively accelerates the fermentation of the compost better than the ordinary build-up method and maintains the temperature of the ventilator. This enhances the action of the microbes in the compost and maintains a good condition in the compost house more effectively which encourages composting.
