Truogh the examination and consideration of Chun qiu Zuo shi Jing (春秋左氏経) and Chun qiu Zuo shi Zhuan(春秋左氏伝), we can find out thereare considerable sentences of Jing that are able to be looked upon the extraction and edition from the original text of Zuo shi Zhuan that is fundamentallyincluded in the present text of Zuo shi Zhuan.In my old manuscripts I have already brougt up the hypothesis that the text of Chun qiu Zuo Shi Jing was basically extracted and edited fromthe original text of Chun qiu Zuo shi Zhuan which is fundamentally included in the present text of Chun qiu Zuo shi Zhuan.In this paper on the grounds that examin and consider the text of Zuo shi Jing and that of Zuo shi Zhuan at the period of Yin gong (隠公), I havestudied the real mechanism of its extraction and edition by dividing into four classes of sentences : (1) the sentences extracted from Zuo shi Zhuan,(2) the sentences extractive edited from Zuo shi Zhuan, (3) the sentences edited by not only depending on Zuo shi Zhuan but also using the other historicalmaterials, (4) the sentences of Zuo shi Jing without corresponding to those of Zuo shi Zhuan.As the result of that study the facts made clear are as follows. Firstly 44 articles in the 76 articles of Zuo shi Jing at that peoriod belong to class(1) or class (2), that come up to 58 percent of all. Secondly 18 articles belonging to class (3) come up to 24 percent of all,and 14 articles belonging toclass (3) come up to 18 percent of all. The first fact is able to be regarded as basically back up the above hypothesis.What is the most noteworthy on the sentences of class (3) and class (4) is the problem of using the first name or the posthumous name at the disicriptionof the death of noble. In the text of Zuo shi Zhuan the deaths of nobles commonly were descrived with posthumous names of nobles,but inthe text of Zuo shi Jing those commonly were described with the first names at a high percentage of 95 percent.This can be made clear that the editor of Zuo shi Jing in order to enhance Kong zi (孔子) who didn't have his posthumous name, in making Zuoshi Jing made full use of the way to descrive the deaths of all nobles with their first names as far as possible. Therefore, in Zuo shi Zhuan Kong ziwas suffering by comparison with the othe peers, but in Zuo Shi Jing he was crowned with glory as well as them. This was the very first step thathe became the sage of the Chinese world. And this was one of the most important aims for the editor to make Zuo shi Jing.
