In July 2009, Sleep no More, Lady Macbeth (マクベス夫人の悪夢) was performed by the Noho Theatre Group at the Oe Theatre in Kyoto. For the first in Japan, a Noh actor shared the stage with virtual animations. This paper traces the process by which modern actors and dancers and Noh and Western musicians integrated Noh with Shakespeare, English with Japanese, and live and virtual actors in production. A discussion of performers' and spectators' reactions provide hints for future experiments. Finally, a bilingual text of the play distributed at the performance follows. 2009年7月に,京都の大江能楽堂で能法劇団による「Sleep no More, Lady Macbeth (マクベス夫人の悪夢)」を上演した.本公演では,能役者の松井彬が,日本の舞台ではじめて, CGアニメーションで表現される仮想役者との共演を行った.本論文では,現代の舞台役者およびダンサー,能役者,フルート奏者などによる,日本の能と西洋のシェイクスピア,英語と日本語,仮想と現実の融合を取り入れた舞台作品の制作過程について述べる.さらに今後の課題として,役者や観客から得られた意見について述べる.最後に当日配布した二カ国語台本を添付する。
