The purpose of this paper is to show the way of conducting a web survey with “Plone”, which is one of the open source Content Management Systems. Reporting the procedure of implementation, it is expected to contribute to future web surveys in Ochanomizu University. The Web survey using Plone was applied to the survey on the “Liberal Arts in the 21st Century”. This survey was conducted by the Center for Research and Development of Education in Ochanomizu University. For the specific results of this survey, it will be recommended to see the formal report of this project. Regarding this paper, I would like to explain the detail of the development of a web survey. Through this survey, it was found that the CMS, in this case Plone, make a survey process simpler and more efficient.
