Pion Electroproduction on 3He and the ?-component

We investigate the pion electroproduction reaction 3He(e，e’π）to study the preformed ?-component in the 3He wave function. It is shown that the previous analysis based upon the isospin symmetry with the ?-dominance is not valid. It is argued that there is a considerable contribution from the Born diagrams. This implies that the large enhancement of the ?knock-out process in the π+/π-ratio measurement may not be expected.
