• 自由論文This paper makes the case for the importance of emphasizing vocabulary learning in students' foreign language studies. Furthermore, the process of foreign language vocabulary learning can be greatly enhanced by training learners in the use of learning strategies. The literature demonstrating the effectiveness of these strategies is reviewed, along with comparisons of the various techniques as applied to vocabulary learning and teaching. The paper concludes with recommendations for classroom application as well as suggestions for future research.本稿は外国語の学習者において語彙の修得の重要性を訴える内容の研究である。語彙を学ぶ過程は学習者にストラタジーを教えることによって促進できる。そのストラタジーの効果に関する文献を評論し、また語彙修得のための様々なテクニックを比較する。さらに、これらを授業に応用するに当たっての留意点と今後の研究課題についても考案する。
