• The Koshikijima sericite is composed of SiO_2, Al_2O_3 and K_2O, chiefly. Under the condition at 250°C temp. 2 hours reacts 96% H_2SO_4, the distillate of sericite is 82.4% Al_2O_3, and 85.9% K_2O. Thus, this sericite is decomposed by H_2SO_4 easily, and is excellent material of potassum and alumina.
