The Numerical analysis of pin-jointed trusses is presented in this paper treating the nonlinear realms of structural mechanics. First, using various nonlinear stress-strain diagrams, the influence of material property is studied about three member truss system. Next, considering the nonlinear property of material and the critical stress of members, the load bearing capacity of five member truss is investigated, in which, as a new trial, the decremental rigidity procedure is introduced. Thirdly, considering the linear and nonlinear property of materials, the finite displacement analysis is described about simple pin-jointed trusses, in which, several results obtained by small displacement analysis are given for reference.
