平成２１年度高知工科大学教員海外研修支援制度の支援をいただき、ドイツのドレスデン研究センター（FZD）内のInstitute of Ion Beam Physics and Materials Research に平成２１年８月から１２月の４ヶ月間滞在した。滞在期間中は、主に電子ビームイオン源の開発や、このイオン源から供給される多価重イオンビームと物質との相互作用に関する研究を行った。本稿では、滞在中の研究活動を通して得たInstitute内の研究体制の状況や海外研修で体験したことについて報告する。Owing to the support of international exchange Professor support program of Kochi University of Technology, I visited and stayed from August 2009 to December 2009 at Forschungszentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (FZD) in Germany. I collaborated with researchers in FZD to develop electron-beam ion source (EBIS) and to investigate interaction between materials and highly-charged heavy ion beams, which were provided from EBIS. The research activity in FZD and my experience through my stay at Dresden is reported.
