The hydraulic conductivity in situ has been measured only on land. It is, however, important for the calculation of drainage to estimate the water quantity that filtrates under the dike in reclaimed land. In this paper the author proposes the new methods for measuring hydraulic conductivity of the aquifer under the sea-bed in situ. The partially penetrating test well, the pipe with screen of long and narrow slots in the lower end, is interpenetrated into aquifer under sea-bed. The first method is to measure the water quantity poured into the pipe to maintain the constant higher level than sea water level and the second method is to measure the rate of rise of water table in the pipe after pumping water out of the pipe. By above methods the author succeeded to determine the hydraulic conductivity of the aquifer under the sea-bed in Nakaumi, Shimaneken, Japan.
