This article aims to understand Japanese modern rural community "mura" as a 'every life world' in J.Habermas' sense. For that aim, two theories about Japanese rural village community, "ierengou" theory and "village-community" theory, was investigated. Especially "ie-rengou" theory was investigated from perspective of social exchange theory and "mura" was comprehended as a complex of two exchange manner, 're-distribution' and 'reciprocity'. The social interaction in this manner makes social solidarity, but in Japanese modern age, this solidarity was made weak through function of two system in Harbermas' sense, administration and market.
