膀胱癌患者における血清蛋白の変動

Using a micro-single radial immuncdifusion method, quantitative studies have been made on the serum proteins of bladder cancer patients; 11 patients in the early stage of tumors and 17 patients m the advanced stage. In the early group, 12 proteins (α1AT, α1X,Hp, Cp, IgG, β2III ,β2I, IgA, Znα2, C9, C5, βLP) were significantly elevated. In the advanced group, 14 proteins (α1AT, α1AG, α1a,X, Znα2, Hp, Cp,C9, CP3A, C5, β2IIl, C4, βLp, ClsI, IgA) significantly increased and 6 proteins (Pre, Alb, α2HS, α2M, Tf, Pm) significantly decreased. This group showed a significant increase of C9, α1AG and C3PA and a significant decrease of Pre, Alb, α2HS, α2M and Tf as compared with the early stage group. It was assumed that these alterations have a possible usefulness in estimating the stage of tumors or prognosis of disease. There was a significant correlation between C9 andα1AT in all the 28 patients. A possible clinical significance of the alterations of the complement, coagulation, and fibrinolysis systems in cancer patients is mainly discussed.
