China banner right Sunite is one of the crucial drought areas in Inner Mongolia.The field surveys werecarried out twice in 2005 and 2006. In this article, we reported the latest survey on the 2008 interviewinginvestigation to 10 pasturing families. It is known that the grassland could recover through the fact that this area’scondition was better than other years by rainfalls. Drought damage appears as death of livestock andlow income. Poor nomadic herders force themselves to leave their own life with no response. The traditionalMongolian nomadic life faces an extinction crisis.
