The following conclusions were drawn from literary r eviews as well as pathohistological studies on 6 cases of cysts in the epididymis which were experienced in recent 1 year and a half. 1) We agree with kobayashi and Miyawaki who have assigned the term "epididymal cyst" to cystic changes in the epididymis. 2) It is considered appropr i a te to classify epididymal cysts into a) a cyst having its origin in vestigial remnants, b) a retention cyst, c) a polycystic disease and d) a serous cyst.
