Many old antiques, such as wooden statues, books, clothes and so on, have been preserved in the treasury buildings of several temples in Nara Gity and its suburbs since one thousand or more years ago, it was belieaved that the possibility of such long time preservations might not generally be comprehended in the usual climatic conditions of high humidity and temperature in Japan. It is very interesting to know the meteorological conditions inside such treasury buildings. Observations of the indoor-climate of those buildings of Todaiji Temle had been started in 1952 by the present author, and similar observations for other buildings in Nara City and its suburbs have been continued since then. Some of the results were already reported. In the present paper, some characteristics of the indoor-climate of Azekura (wooden old treasury), Syoko ("Dozo" style library) and Syuzoko (new ferro-concrete treasury), which are of different style and are located closely each other, are presented, being based upon the observations during the 20 months from April 1963 to November 1964. The annual means of air temperature are higher inside the buildings than outside, in agreement with the results reported already by the present author for other buildings, and the difference of the temperature between inside and outside the buildings falls in the range of about 1 to 3°C. The temperature difference changes seasonally, and the maximum value (about 3°C) appears in summer time, and the minimum in winter time. Of the three buildings taken up here, Syoko has the highest annual mean temperature and the Azekura the lowest. Some of these differences found among the three building are clear especially in summer time and on such unusual days as are very hot, cold, dry, moist, and windy.
