After a survey of Chinese rhetorical questions in three modern dramas, this paper has firstly divided the rhetorical questionsinto four parts: WH-rhetorical questions, yes-no rhetorical questions, selective rhetorical questions and A or ￢A rhetoricalquestions, then made a careful description and analysis of the structural features of the WH-rhetorical questions . A specialattention is given to components of the WH-rhetorical question as interrogative pronoun, adverb, modal verb, and other special ones.
