• The purpose of this study is to reconsider the unknown power of recreation through points of view from eight case studies of various organizations, local governments and different kinds of non profit organizations.In Japan, recreation itself has been unfortunately misunderstood by ways of very narrow concept, image, and actual practice as well as activities from which true recreation value have not been obtained correctly.In this study the recognition and reconsideration of the unknown power of recreation and the power of unknown recreation were discussed and interpreted.
