GLOW (Generative Linguistics in the Old World) has from the outset aimed for internal intellectual cohesion rather than totally unmotivated wide coverage and represents a nucleus of beliefs conerning the basic object of linguistic inquiry around which the personal intellectual positions of the members actively interested in Chomskyan Linguistics should ideally gravitate. Among the critical goals of the current research strategy in generative grammar is the topic that is employed in eliminating possible redundancies in the postulated system of rules to determine quite narrowly a certain class of genuine grammars ultimately specifying the properties of Core Grammar (UG). This thesis is also involved in the theoretical track towards a methodological decision of the principles governing "Disjoint Reference" which will certainly result in the real understanding of the full issue on the permissible channels (escape-hatches or unambiguous paths) fixed for the Case-governed traces when movement (NP/WH) is triggered within the general configurations of Bound Anaphora that will supersede particular filters through nonbasic LF (Logical Form.) syntactic representation. 1. COMP-to-COMP 2. comp Subject NP-to-Subject NP 3. Object NP-to-Subject NP 4. Subject NP-to-Object NP Emonds's Structure-Preserving Hypothesis has led to the postulation of S-structure within Trace Theory, which necessarily incorporates the notion of "structure preservation" and which bears a transmitted function as the only input to LF representation absolutely constrained by Chomsky's Pisa concept of Government. Within these major innovations falls my present work together with many of the excellent and helpful colleague linguists of GLOW. If this study is to give precise content to the algorithm of contradictory indices (i,{i}), then my previous work on Loop Binding may purport to establish a logical possibility of characterizing the long-standing problems as to Satellite Syntax, regardless of the controversy and misunderstandings especially inside Japan.
