"We study the Kervaire classes of tangential normal maps for the lens space when the order of the fundamental group is a multiple of four. We obtain the vanishing of the Kervaire classes upto certain dimension. The method used here is the relation of the secondary cohomology operation corresponding to the element $h_{0}^{2}h_{2}(=h_{1}^{3})$ in the cohomology of the mod 2 Steenrod algebra."
