As for Yamagata Museum's standing statue of Shohkannon(35.8cm),Chuta Itoh reproduced the image which Taketaro Shinkai's　work produced by are quest of Tsurumi-Sohjiji Temple as an offering when Kuninomiya Yoshikomarried to be a Princess in 1924(Taisho 13), in the next year. The image derives from the Shohkannnon of Toh-indo Yakushiji Temple, Shinkai just did the similar image of The Great Shokannon Bosatsu statue less than 50m for the honoring of the Emperor Meiji in Sohjiji Temple for the same period. Evenif both images are similar at their appearances, each purpose is different. On the offering image, The Shohkannnon of Yakushiji Temple was conformed to the theory of art historian Takurei Hirako, an intimate friend, to be the image which the Empress made the request for the Emperor, and The Great Shohkannon Bosatsu reached the molding as an example of the study of the classic sculptures. The expectations both Sohjiji Temple and Taketaro Shinkai would be mixed in there.
