衛星リモートセンシングを用いた小浜湾の水質計測

The purpose of this research is to develop a procedure for extracting information on the water quality of Obama Bay from multi-spectral satellite images. As the first step of this research, a controlled laboratory experiment was performed to measure the spectral reflectance of samples obtained from Obama Bay in order to determine the principal components of the water. Preliminary results of the laboratory experiment indicate that the main components of the water in Obama Bay are sediment and phytoplankton. In addition, we compared of the spectral measurement in laboratory with that of analysis using satellite images. Moreover, the results of the analyses of the direct sampling data of Obama Bay provided by local government of Fukui prefecture are also reported.
