According to previous researches, since child care work is generally considered "women's work" and only a semi-profession, it tends to be autonomous and less prestigious, offering less salary than male-dominated professions. The researcher thought that all childcare workers want to increase worker's value in the workplace and workers want to transform from "semi-profession" to "full profession." To make childcare work a profession, it must be transformed from "women's work" to "gender-neutral work." A full profession and women's work is a contradiction. Do female childcare workers think that childcare is women's work and a semi-profession? Additionally, according to early research, the specialty rises by gaining experience as a child care worker. Dose the professional sense of female childcare workers reveal differences by years of experience? These questions are clarified by quantitative investigation analysis. As a result of investigation analysis, unlike previous findings, female childcare workers did not think that a full profession and women's work is contradictory. Younger generations not only considered childcare work women's work but evaluated its specialization. However, older generations consider childcare work neither women's work nor a profession. Those results disprove previous researches about profession and gender. We must extend our inquiries into the relations between gender and profession.
