3章 単離・精製・活性測定 6. タンパク質 b光合成電子伝達系には，複数の膜タンパク質複合体が関与している．これらのタンパク質複合体を複合体のままで電気泳動するいわゆるNative-PAGEのひとつとして，近年，Blue-Native PAGEが頻繁に用いられるようになった．膜タンパク質複合体の構成を調べたり，単量体なのか二量体なのかを検証することなどが行われている．本稿では，Blue-Native PAGEを概観し，実験方法を簡単に紹介する．Photosynthetic electron transport system contains several membrane protein complexes such as photosystems I and II. Blue-Native PAGE is useful to assess the oligomeric form of membrane protein complexes and their composition in their native form.
