3章 単離・精製・活性測定 5. 色素の分析 d光合成生物にとってカロテノイドの存在は必須であり，多種多様なカロテノイドがある．光合成生物の分類群ごとに特有なカロテノイドもある．本章ではカロテノイドの抽出，精製，同定などの方法を解説する．Presence of carotenoids in phototrophic organisms is essential for light-harvesting and photoprotection, and around 150 kinds of carotenoids are found in these.
