The purpose of this study was to promote career development in university students by conducting interview research about the “work-life balance (WLB)” of the company. Two investigations called company investigation (hearing research about the system of WLB of the company by students) and the personal investigation (questioner research about the efforts and actual situation of WLB of the workers who bring up infants) were performed. These researches were able to contribute the promotion of students’ concepts of career and identity, and to offer the basic data for the policy of WLB.
