This paper shows how the heat transfer coefficients along a heated tube are affected by the ratio of the first plate to the second plate of oscillating plates of various types which are oscillating by an internal flow in a circular tube is inserted at the inlet in order to augment heat transfer along the tube wall. The heat transfer performance was evaluated under the condition of a fixed pumping power, and it was found that the performance ratio, η, for the entrance region attainded the maximum at λ^<1/3>Re= 8 x 10^3 and became 1.5, for fully developed turbulent region took nearly one, because the oscillating plate could not be set closer to the tube wall and Strouhal number was very small.
